Weather Conditions

Northern Madagascar is breezed by the trade winds during the months of April to November. The wind blows constantly every day between 20 to 40 knots once the season begins. Kite sizes most used range from 5 to 9 meters during the peak season.

The water temperature ranges from 25 to 28° C. We strongly advise to bring a neoprene shorty wetsuit 2 to 3 mm thick. The days are sunny and the air temperature varies from 25 to 32° C. Bring a good sweater for cool evenings.

Best months are May , June , September and October with about 25 knots daily and excellent temperatures in he water and outside the water.

July and August wind is usually strong and blows from 30 to 45 knots

March, April and November are the begging and end months of the wind season in northern Madagascar so conditions are in between 12 to 25knots.

March April and November you might have 5 to 10 days with no wind during the month.
