In the Kitesurf baptism you will be introduced to this wonderful sport, you will know, how the kite fly’s, by doing some specific exercises on the land and all the safety procedures to have, concerning the obstacles, (downwind and upwind) space to mount etc. We recommend this kitesurf baptism for those who are deciding in getting the first steps into this sport.

The complete Kitesurf course consists on the first stage, the student to observe all the surroundings, the wind effects and some more exercises, like presentation of the Kitesurf gear, mounting, dismounting, flying the kite, by doing some specific exercises. After the student is familiarized with all the Kite gear and the controlling of the kite we introduce him to the water, here he will do several exercises, like the “body-drag”, “self-rescue” etc. He needs, to understand the movements of the kite, and how to react to them. (All of this parts are very important). After several exercises and drinking some salty water ☺ we show him how the kite works with the board, here’s one of the most important parts, he needs to understand the balance between the kite, his body and combine this, by doing some “edging” and getting some balance on the board. After trying sometimes, you will get the hang of it, and when you notice you are already doing Kitesurfing! Welcome abroad!

At the end of the Kitesurf course you will receive a certificate called IKO. This’s a card that works basically like a driver’s license for Kitesurf, this will show your Kitesurfer level. With this IKO card you can rent after the Kitesurf classes, all the gear to have fun. Never forget to respect the local swimmers and the other kite surfers. See you on the water!
